Trauma-Informed Projects

Cassie works with individuals, groups, organizations, and systems to promote the implementation of trauma-informed practice across a broad spectrum of professions and service sectors.

Individuals and groups can work with Cassie to build trauma-sensitivity into and find greater personal satisfaction in their practice.

Cassie has extensive experience with guiding entire organizations and interacting systems through the implementation of trauma-informed practice.

Current Projects

Generating Resilience Outcomes & Wellness (GROW) Project
Project GROW is a partnership between the Office of Student Wellness, the NH Bureau of Special Education, and the Center for Behavioral Health Innovation at Antioch University. This project will provide expert leadership in the development of trauma-informed schools and community systems. Project GROW will provide NH school professionals with expert training and consultation in the full implementation of a trauma-informed organizational self-assessment, staff professional development, policy and practice transformation, and program evaluation.

Growing Healthy Families (GHF): Child-Parent Psychotherapy Professional Learning Communities
By March 2019, the The Growing Healthy Families project will have made great strides toward increasing NH's capacity to provide Child-Parent Psychotherapy, a leading evidenced-based treatment for maltreated children (0-6) and their caregivers. At its conclusion, the project will supply NH with two nationally certified trainers in CPP and well over 30 CPP rostered providers.

Connecting Young Children and Their Caregivers to Care (CYCCC) Project
The CYCCC project aims to improve access Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), a leading evidence-based treatment for maltreated youth (0-6) and their caregivers. Through partnerships with AUNE's Center for Behavioral Health Innovation, the HNH Foundation,  and Manchester ACEs Response Teams (ACERT), the project will train members of the ACERT teams (comprised of a police officer, crisis services advocate, behavioral health professional) how to identify traumatized children and make informed referrals to CPP providers. 

Partnership with NH Project LAUNCH (Linking Actions for Unmet Needs in Children's Health)
Yackley is partnering with Project LAUNCH to providing training to Manchester, NH's ACEs Response Teams to expedite referrals to evidence-based treatments and to help Manchester's first responders understand the impact of trauma and employ trauma-sensitive practices when responding to domestic violence calls.

Past Projects

Trauma-Informed Early Childhood Services: Highly Qualified Consultant (TIECS-HQC) Project
Through the TIECS-HQC project, Cassie developed and delivered the train-the-consultant, advanced training curriculum for 50 early child trauma informed practice consultants across NH who provided consultation and technical assistance to early childhood care providers, preschool and kindergarten teachers, and school administrators.
